The long-awaited consumer release of RANE’s new SEVENTY-TWO mixer and TWELVE Controller System is finally here. Battle-ready and tested, RANE’s innovative design ushers in a new era for both Digital DJs and Traditional Turntablists. Bridging the gap between both worlds, this new system breaks new ground, while delivering the unmatched hi-quality rugged construction, reliability, and precision always associated with their brand. The system made its promotional debut during the 2017 DMC world championships, featuring winner DJ Perly and newly-appointed RANE Brand Manager JP Mathurin (aka the legendary, DJ FATFINGAZ). RANE and Fatfingaz have taken the show on the road, showcasing the technological breakthrough most recently at DJ EXPO 2017 in Atlantic City, NJ, and NAMM 2018 in Anaheim, CA.

The RANE TWELVE Battle Controller


Paying homage to the brand-loyal analog artists, their new innovative controller features the characteristics of a traditional direct-drive turntable, but eliminates the troubles brought on by skipping needles and tone arms; replacing them with a revolutionary touch strip, which delivers precise, multi-function performance and unprecedented stability. Featuring a fully-customizable vinyl experience using your own favorite slipmat, the turntablist will feel right at home. While the digital-centric DJ will appreciate the familiar feeling of rugged construction and overall agility in the platters.

 


The RANE SEVENTY-TWO Battle Mixer


Of all the features offered in the new mixer, none is more important than the brand-new Mag THREE Fader — a drastic update to the original design, this new version is features a touches, tension-adjustable fader with perfect tactile feel, delivering unprecedented precision along with a long, reliable life. In addition, the SEVENTY-TWO allows two DJs to do battle using their own laptops simultaneously through the two USB connections. The 4.3-inch color touch screen interface, displays Serato DJ’s moving waveforms and cue points, while offering an interactive experience to FX workflows, with two internal FLEX FX engines and stacked Serato DJ Effects. It makes for an experience unlike anything you’ve ever imagined.
